Note: BT Enterprises does not recommend one brand over another. As much as we would like to help our customers in the decision process of choosing a pellet each brand may perform differently from one stove to another and each pellet user has there own opinion and preference. All of our brands are of premium or above quality but each will burn differently in the various stoves. Bayou Wood Pellets are made with clean sawdust and other clean wood waste material primarily generated in the manufacturing of hardwood lumber into various wood products such as moulding, cabinets, hardwood flooring, etc. Our Pellets are independently tested periodically and meet the standards for premium pellets as established by the Pellet Fuel Institute. Our Pellets have low ash content and high BTUs due to the quality of the hardwood raw material used. Our Pellets are protected from moisture by our bagged hoods. We double screen all of our pellets to insure our fines are less than 0.5%.

Cubex is from a Canadian company called Lauzon, one of the top floor manufacturers. This company states on their website that they are a fully integrated operation from the forest to finished products. Cubex is 100% hardwood that is manufactured from hardwood flooring. This pellet is of premium grade with less than .5% ash and is 1/4" to 1/4" / 1" in length. It can produce up to 8800 BTUs.

Liberty Blocks

Liberty Bricks are held together by the force applied to them during the manufacturing process. Wood fiber is fed into a mold, where a large ram puts thousands of pounds of pressure on the fiber and compresses it into a Liberty Brick. The bricks are held together by the rejoined fibers in the wood and natural resins. No glues or binders are added.
Although split wood is often bought by the cord, there’s no good way to know exactly how much wood you’re getting since a cord is defined by the 8’ X 4’ X 4’ dimensions of the stack but not by how densely it’s packed. One “rule” to describe the density of a cord of wood is that a mouse can get into the stack, but not the cat that’s chasing it. The heat value of wood is determined by the weight and dryness, and since Liberty Liberty Bricks are conveniently packaged in shrink wrapped bundles of ten bricks and each pallet is wrapped and covered. Liberty Bricks take up half the storage space of cordwood, are clean, have no bugs.
